Authorisation and information before purchase

Before a recurring charge is agreed, the service, VAT-inclusive total, frequency and charge date will be identified. The customer must expressly authorise it; an enquiry, acceptance of the privacy notice or a one-off payment does not itself authorise automatic charges.

Each monthly service will have its own conditions and activation date. Where several items are combined into one charge, the customer will be able to identify each item’s amount and the total. Advertising-management fees do not include advertising spend on Meta, Google or other platforms.

3% annual adjustment to monthly fees

Where the accepted proposal includes this adjustment, each service’s monthly fee will increase by 3% on each anniversary of its agreed activation date. The new amount will be the then-current monthly fee multiplied by 1.03, rounded to the nearest centavo, including VAT. Billing remains monthly; the price adjustment is annual, not monthly.

We will send notice to the configured email address at least 30 calendar days before the first charge at the new price, identifying the service, previous amount, new total and effective date. This is a notice condition of this policy. The customer may cancel future renewals without penalty before the charge. The adjustment will not apply retroactively to paid periods or initial charges.

The 3% adjustment does not apply to the domain. An installation discount does not change the monthly base amount unless the proposal expressly provides otherwise.

Domain: annual renewal and current price

Domain renewal is annual and follows its actual registrar expiry or renewal date, which may precede or differ from website activation. That date is recorded administratively and may be corrected to reflect the registrar’s records; a relevant correction will be communicated to the customer.

The renewal amount will be ZATEU’s current configured price for that domain when preparing the renewal, including VAT. There is no fixed 3% domain increase. Before charging, the exact amount and date will be communicated, allowing the customer to decide whether to renew or cancel under the accepted terms.

A later configuration price change does not authorise a silent increase above the notified amount. If the price changes after notification, the new total must be communicated with the applicable advance notice and any required authorisation obtained before a different amount is charged. A first year is included only where specified in the proposal.

Renewal notices and cancellation

For each automatic renewal, notice will be sent at least five calendar days before the charge, identifying the service, amount and date and providing a clear way to cancel without penalty. This is separate from the 30-day notice of an annual increase: neither replaces the other.

Every automatically renewing service must provide a mechanism for immediate cancellation of future renewals. The service will remain available until the paid period ends unless the customer requests earlier termination, without prejudice to legally required refunds or compensation.
